Tug o War

Yesterday morning a couple of strong boys brought in a mysterious box. It was gigantic!!!
I had no idea what it was. We slowly carried It out onto the green field and pulled it out it was as long as our classroom. It was a massive tug o war rope. We had to lay it out straight and measure it. First we had to guess. I guessed 27 meters. Then we measured with foot steps. Then Floyd got a meter wheel and measured it. It was 30 meters. After that we had to fold it in half to find the middle. Mrs Ellis put a tag in the middle. Now we can have a game. Mrs Ellis sorted us out into teams and we started. My powerful muscles pulled on the long black rope. We pulled the other team and they all fell over and we won. We had another turn. We pulled and pulled and we won again. We were the champions!
